Meet Stephanie
For as long as I can remember, my parents encouraged me to create. We were always making something-refinishing furniture, weaving baskets, sewing dresses, planting gardens, even remodeling houses. I developed an appreciation for craftsmanship and detail, and came to feel most at home in the middle of a project.
I went on to study Textiles and Apparel at Cornell University, and set out on a career in consumer marketing. This work exposed me to products and brands across the market, and left me obsessed with humans and how they live.
After returning to school to study Interior Design at Parsons School of Design, I began designing full time and soon launched Moontide Studio.
Moontide Studio brings together so many elements of my life & career: working hands-on, marrying form and function, harmonizing materials, color, and texture. And most importantly, working with clients to solve for what matters the most to them.
I love every aspect of this work-from diving into a family's needs to installing the final details-and every little step that happens in between. Please get in touch - I’d love to learn more about you and how you’d love to live.
Our Philosophy
-
Human
Homes are for the people that live there. Our approach puts humans at the core, to design spaces that enable you to love how you live.
-
Authentic
We are obsessed with authentic materials that last. The right materials marry form & function and are made for living over the long haul.
-
Cohesive
We deliver cohesive designs that unite and elevate a home, making the most of your space and budget.
-
Lagom
The Swedish philosophy lagom means “just right”- not too much, not too little. Living lagom is about living in balance, appreciating your surroundings. A sense of luxury marked by ease rather than excess.
